1. Coke is enough reason to flag your video. That doesn’t mean it is *the* reason, or that all videos with coke have been flagged. It’s simply enough reason. You’ll notice YouTube also lists “Hateful and abusive content” as one of the reasons users can select when they flag a video. I don’t necessarily agree that it’s on the same level as the other options, but I would have to agree that your video *could* be seen as falling under that category. Please don’t ask me to prove it. I think you know what I mean. There are no rainbows or dancing bunnies, let’s just put it that way.

2. YouTube’s rules give anyone the right to flag your video, and if enough people do, the rules call for an age restriction — again, NOT a banning. YouTube doesn’t (and couldn’t) dictate that people’s flagging be just & fair beyond a shadow of a doubt, which would be impossible to moderate. These are just the rules of the YouTube game.

3. So if it was the coke, or “hatefulness” or if it was actually a difference of opinion & your ideological foes wanted to force you out, they did it within the rules. It was *NOT* Google, which you keep insisting, who restricted your video. Your fellow users restricted it. Please be accurate in listing your grievances. Google and YouTube have done nothing wrong here.

Keep making your videos, if that’s what you love, and find places to share them — just don’t get upset when opt-in community rules shut you out.

1. It’s fairly obvious that your video was flagged inappropriate because of the drugs. I probably would have done the same. I used to work for Google, so this comes as no surprise to me at all.

2. Getting flagged as inappropriate for minors is NOT censorship, no matter how much you’d like to see yourself as a martyr. Your video was not removed from YouTube, nor were people banned from seeing it. When you make accusations, accuracy should be top priority. Otherwise, no one believes you except those who were already in your pocket.

3. Even more specifically, *Google/YouTube* are not the ones who flagged you — your fellow community users did. As a 2.0 Web community, YouTube allows collaboration among its users, and everyone is welcome to participate to the extent that the other members of the community appreciate. If your fellow users feel your work should be flagged a certain way, then that’s how the system works. Your community (in a sense, *you*) are the ones who flagged you.

Whether it was flagged *appropriately* or not should be your beef here - maybe you should be asking WHY it was flagged, instead of you & your cronies insisting it was because of political reasons. If that were the case, can you point to a similar smear video of a GOP candidate that includes images of drugs and show that it is open to underage users on YouTube?

I’m all for free speech. I voted for Obama, so of course I disagree with your perspective. But I want you to know I support your free speech just like anyone else’s. The point here is that you need to realize your free speech is NOT being infringed — you’ve just been affected by the rules of the club called YouTube. If you don’t like the rules, then you can always post somewhere else. Free speech, right?
